The Full Moon Bodhisattva Ceremony is a buddhist ritual that is comprised of four parts:

Acknowledging the timeless cost of cause and effect and vowing to be more mindful of our actions.

A bodhisattva is a being who vows once enlightenment is attained, he or she will remain in this realm to help other beings attain enlightenment.

We vow to……

Embrace and sustain all action

Embrace and sustain all that is good.

Embrace and sustain all beings

We vow to refrain from……..

Taking what is not given

Misusing sexuality

False speech

Intoxicating mind or body

Speaking of the faults of others

Praising self at the expense of others

Being possessive of anything, especially the dharma

Harboring ill-will

Disparaging the Triple Treasure of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha

DEDICATION of this Ceremony to all beings across time.
